Terraset makes a strategic purchase of Capture6 carbon removal

Capture6 is excited to announce a significant milestone with the purchase of its high-quality carbon removal by Terraset, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to directing donations from environmentally conscious individuals towards strategic carbon removal initiatives.

Unlike many organizations, Terraset refrains from claiming any credits associated with their purchases. Instead, they prioritize catalyzing innovative and promising CDR projects with the potential to scale and make a genuine difference in the fight against climate change.

Terraset and Capture6

Terraset operates with a commitment to environmental responsibility, relying on in-depth research from leading climate organizations such as Frontier and CarbonPlan to meticulously assess potential recipients. Their stringent criteria ensure that their contributions are only channeled to the highest-quality carbon removal projects with tangible and meaningful environmental impacts.

Ethan Cohen-Cole, the CEO of Capture6, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration, stating, “Terraset’s purchase is a testament to our dedication to providing carbon removal solutions that meet the highest quality standards and deliver meaningful community benefits. We are truly honored to become a part of their select portfolio of CDR projects and look forward to our future collaboration.”
