Capture6 named a finalist in the World Water Challenge

Capture6 is named a finalist in Korea International Water Week’s (KIWW) World Water Challenge 2023.

Water is an essential resource that Capture6 seeks to amplify through direct air capture. Our technology process integrates with water treatment technologies and provides a circular economy integration whereby water treatment facilities’ salty water (brine) is used to produce solvent to capture atmospheric carbon dioxide. Capture6’s technology supports community and environmental benefits by delivering additional freshwater and removing CO₂.

Capture6 will travel to Daegu, Korea in December to present on Capture6’s novel process during Korea International Water Week for the final round of the World Water Challenge 2023.

We are honored to have been selected to advance in this prestigious competition. This 9th edition of World Water Challenge is an important platform to share innovative scientific, policy and technological methods with a broad network of global water stakeholders.

Our sincerest thanks to the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea, K-water (Korea Water Resources Corporation) and the Korea Water Forum.
